Shields Index, aka Irish folk-song recordings, 1966—1972
The recordings of children’s songs, rhymes and riddles in the Dusty Bluebells exhibition are part of a much larger collection of field-recordings made by Hugh Shields. The article below prepared by Hugh and Lisa lists in detail the Shields recording collection as of 1972.
The original recordings have been donated to ITMA and are now digitised.
