The Dusty Bluebells 2019 PDF

The multimedia materials presented in the Dusty Bluebells exhibition have been drawn from a number of different manuscript and sound recording sources in the Shields Collection. They have been presented and contextualised in digital Playlists and Songbooks and under various sections across the site. Our intention was to highlight the variety, detail and scale of the work of Hugh and Lisa produced in a pre-digital publishing environment.
As well as providing substantial editorial advice and hands-on preparation of materials for Dusty Bluebells, Lisa has also created a really practical 2019 PDF edition of the songs, rhymes and riddles presented in the exhibition.
